Morning- 3 easy. Got my blood checked today , 46. Not as good as 49 last year but I'm chalk full of iron.

Afternoon- warmup, drills, 12x400m on the grass at little valley with first 8 at 1:13-1:15, last 4 at 1:08-1:10, mile cool down. Felt good, hit 1:20 on the first one just getting a feel for it, then ranged 1:11-1:15 on the next ones, then on the last 4 we went a little too fast and went 1:04, 1:05, 1:05, 1:03. It felt good so I guess it's alright. Good stuff from everyone and we got to watch our skinny bodies run cuz coach thatcher videod us it was sick

Also we had to change the course on that park cuz of construction so the first half was downhill the second half was slight uphill as opposed to all slight downhill

Race: BYU Autumn Classic (3.08 Miles) 00:15:55, Place overall: 13

BYU

Warmed up with the crew, got to the line with big goals. The gun went off and I immediately got out pretty dang well, maybe a little too well. I was right around top 10 for 2.5 miles. Spent most of the race flirting with Davis 3rd 4th and 5th guys, which was perfect.  According to coach we were only 3 points away from Davis at 2.5 miles, but me and tanner lost some places. Anyway, with about a half mile to go a group with Connor baller, max spence, Galen, Jamison, and a mountain view(?) kid came up on me, I stuck with them til the track but I couldn't quite catch them. I had gained ground on Galen, he got me by a second, and right at the line Davis's 4th guy almost got me but I got him with the head lean. Finished with 15:55, they said it was 3 miles but I'm thinking more like 3.05 or 5k but whatever, times don't matter it's all about place. Finished 13th overall, we took second to Davis but only by 24 POINTS!!!!! This was the closest we've ever been. A few of our guys (spence, tanner, and maybe Bryson) didnt run as well as we know they could have, but they're studs and once everything comes together, things will be glorious. Super awesome stuff from everyone.

Shout out to Connor baller for showing me the light as to how long the course is.

Morning- 3 easy through the 6 by myself

Afternoon- drove Scott, Boston and joe about 45 minutes out on the strip to seegmiller mountain for 7 easy. Sick run out there, I love going out there where it's like a forest and not desert. On the way back we found a huge water tank and a weird underground bunker thing with a dead rabbit in it, weird stuff man.

Shoutout to myself for earning the coveted "visible views" on the fast running blog. I owe it all to the beautiful Alli Peterson , for bringing it to my attention, thank you Alli P, and keep reading my blog PEOPLE, you won't be disappointed

Morning- 3 easy to hidden valley. We're doing the Michigan today...for those of you who don't know what the Michigan is, let me tell you right now. It's a 2 mile warmup, then a fast mile on the track (4:55-5:10 ish) then one minute of recovery, then a road mile at about 5:45, then a fast 1200 on the track, then a road mile, then a fast 800 on the track, then a road mile, and then whatever you have left is used in an all out 400 on the track, and if after all that you break 60, coach buys you dinner. So far I've ran 61 like 4 times but today will be the day. Stay tuned for details . BY THE WAY THERES 1 minute of recovery between everything

7:15 PM- 3 mile warmup (including strides) , Michigan, mile cool down. I'm gonna put my goal times and then what I did hit.

Track mile: 5:05-5:10, hit 5:01

Road mile: 5:45, hit 5:43

Track 1200: 3:45, hit 3:43

Road mile: 5:45, hit 5:41

Track 800: 2:26-2:28, hit 2:26

Road mile: 5:45, hit 5:40

All out 400: goal time was sub 60, hit 59.

Today was a HUGE confidence booster.

Morning- 3 easy by myself

Afternoon- 5.5 with strides. Man it was hot today and I'm tired from the Michigan. I'm getting an oral surgery type thing tomorrow (not wisdom teeth but I do get laughing gas) so prepare yourselves for that

Morning-3 easy to hidden valley. Kale came and it was royal. Just got out of ithe oral surgery and I'm still gas from laughing gas hehehe it's good stuff

Afternoon-Lol i  just couldn't even, my body was 300% done. the plan was to do 16x400s at vernon worthen at 1:13, and drop the last 4, but due to my surgery this morning my body couldn't quite handle that, so i did 6x400s in 1::21, 1:12, 1:13, 1:13, 1:13, 1:19, then jogged around for a while (very light-headed..i guess it takes a day for the drugs to be out of my system lol) then i decided to do the last one with the guys and i went 1:06. not too bad considering everything, and this is a really good week for this surgery to happen, because of woodbridge next week. gonna hammer the workout on saturday tho, i'm ready!

we were camping at hatch today so we could get a run at higher elevation. The plan was to warmup for 3 miles, run 4 miles at 7:00-7:15 pace, then 3 miles at 6:30, then 6:00, then whatever you had left in the tank. We were at 8,100 ish feet on a hilly fire road, and because of the hills we ended up doing 4x3:00 min instead of the tempo so we didn't have to worry about pace. It was way good stuff, and my body is feeling better since all the drugs are out of my system lol. Good long run and good finish for the whole crew to a hecka hard week. Now it's time for Woodbridge 😍😍😍😍

Morning- 3 easy through the 6 by myself

Afternoon- warmup, drills, strides, then we did our ladder workout on the track at 9 pm to get ready for Woodbridge. We did 200 400 800 1200 1600 and back down. I'll put my goal times and then what I did hit:

200: 36, hit 36

400: 1:13, hit 1:12

800: 2:25, hit 2:23

1200: 3:42, hit 3:41

1600: 5:05-5:10, hit 5:03

1200: same goal times, hit 3:40

800: 2:21

400: 1:05

200: 28

I felt pretty good. The fast stuff is still in me so I know I can finish fast, and I know I have the endurance too. Woodbridge is gonna be siiiick, I know I'm ready for a blazin time and we're gonna kill it as a team too. Also a fun drive a little over an hour out on the AZ strip with boston and Scott made for a pretty swick day

Morning- we got to rest because of the workout late last night, hallelujah

Afternoon- 6.5 easy with team night. One small workout and then Woodbridge!!

After some thinking I've decided I'm gonna log my workouts on paper from now on, not here on the good ol frb. In the eternal words of the legendary josh Mcphie, any team can go hard on the last one, so be the team that goes hard on the last two!
